Uno dei dubbi che maggiormente assillano i futuri acquirenti di iPad riguarda quale modello scegliere, se la versione solo WiFi, o la versione WiFi + 3G, ovviamente più costosa.

Se fosse possibile sfruttare il proprio abbonamento dati dell’iPhone in tethering sull’iPad, la decisione sarebbe molto semplice: compreremmo quasi tutti la versione solo WiFi. Purtroppo però questa soluzione non sarà possibile, è lo stesso Steve Jobs a dirlo in risposta ad una mail di un ragazzo Svedese che vi riportiamo:

Una scelta puramente commerciale per evitare che la versione 3G di iPad venga percepita come “inutile” e per fare arricchire le compagnie telefoniche per le quali si prospetta uno scenario paradossale dal punto di vista degli utenti, costretti a sottoscrivere due abbonamenti flat.

Non prendetelo come un consiglio, ma a io comprerò la versione WiFi, un modo per sfruttare la connessione dell’iPhone, sopratutto se avete eseguito il JailBreak, si troverà.
